b. The Mother Hooks Basic: Vigorous Internal Strength Training practiced
mostly in the Outward Ba (like a Horse) Stance
c. The Advanced Mother Hooks Set
THE OLD EIGHT HOOKS:
This chapter provides instruction for the basic hook method from each of
the Eight Hooks of the Traditional Form (More vigorous Internal Training,
that is symmetrical and intricate)

TECHNIQUES AND SPARRING:
Presented are techniques for connecting, trapping, intercepting,
redirecting, etc. based on the Mother Hooks and some of the concepts
covered in the Old Eight Hooks and Traditional Form. This chapter ends
with free sparring featuring the hooks against the staff/spear, broadsword,
double sword, and inside information on how to beat the hooks!
