This volume presents supplemental information on the Swimming Dragon
Chi Kung including Sitting, Standing, and Sounds to optimize Meditation.
It is broken down into the following chapters:
Connecting With Trees:
This chapter introduces information on how to share energy with trees by
contacting vital points on the trunk such as the Chi Hai (Energy Ocean) and
Ming Men (Life Gate).
Sounds:
This chapter teaches specific information concerning the use of sounds to
develop and strengthen energy throughout the organism and along
acu-meridian channels associated with each of the Five Phases.
Standing:
Detailed, yet simple information is presented on standing meditation to
develop and strengthen energy throughout the organism, and along
acu-meridian channels associated with each of the Five Phases of
Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water. The Instruction highlights how the
standing postures are related to the Chinese Characters of each of the
Five Phases, and how to circulate chi along each of the acu-meridian
channels associated with the Phases.
Sitting:
Sitting meditation can be used for calmly and peacfully dredging, gathering,
and strengthening energy. Additional information for circulating chi along
the eight extra meridians of Yinqiao and Yangqiao, Dai, Chong, Du and
Ren, and Yangwei and Yingwei is explained, as well as how these extra
channels are associated with the Phases, and can be used as gateways
to promote calmness, energy, and to balance Yin and Yang.
